New Fryette 2/50/2 Mounting Hole Issue

I just received a brand new Fryette G2502 from musicians friend and ran into an issue trying to mount it in my rack. The right top ( facing the front) mounting hole is milled in the wrong location. The left side is fine. I even checked with a tape measure and it seems the right top mounting slot was milled about an 1/8” too low. I have attached some pictures. How do we handle this? Is it a matter of obtaining a new silver face plate?

Also there is a little greasy liquid like material coming from the “class” switches, is this normal? I wiped what I could but I can a little inside around the button.

Thanks.
Scott

Hi Scott,

I believe you have a response to this already from Dave. Hope it gets sorted quickly for you.

Regards,

Dan

Hi Dan,

I don’t see a response from Dave. Can you point me in the direction of the response?

Thanks,
Scott

He should be in your email. He wrote a reply to your original email you sent to support.

Can you have it resent? I don’t see anything and I checked all my folders.

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott,

That is a problem all right. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We have your information on file and we’ll make arrangements to send you a replacement ASAP.

Very sorry for the inconvenience!

Dave

Scott,

The switches are OK. It’s just a bit of lubricant.
It’ll stop seeping after the first or second wipe.

Dave

Attached here, not sure what happened! Discourse should have sent you some notifications about his reply… in any case sounds like you should expect something in the post soon.

Thank you and thank you for the quick response. If you can, when you send out the replacement, can you provide tracking?

Thanks!
Have a Great ThanksGiving!!

Yes we will provide tracking. It will take a while though as we’re waiting for a new panel shipment. Meanwhile, the brackets are more than solid enough to support the amp with 3 screws.
