really want to be able to use my noise gate in conjunction with my zmacs and amps. is this possible to use attenuator loops for FX? guessing no but fingers are crossed.
You can only use the attenuator loop for an attenuator.
However, you can put a Power Station in the attenuator loop and then put your gate in the Power Station FX Loop. In that scenario you can crank your amp, use lots of gain and gate everything post your amps output stage.
If your gate has a remote switch function, you can control that from the ZMACS Remote feature. If not and you use a PS-100, you can control the PS-100 loop using the ZMACS Remote function.
