Using the PS100 as a power amp for a pre-amp pedal (IR-X).
Using a Volume Pedal through your Effects Loop. Will control the overall output of volume. Just set the Volume knob a bit higher than you normally set it. Blend better with the band…solos add more “gas” to the pedal. Add more dynamics to your sound.

I have used this method for 25+ years through my Mesa Boogies Effects Loop.
