ZMACS + PS2A + Cyclops + Modeller + Amps + Cabs

I have the ZMACS and Powerstation PS2a and want to add in my Quad Cortex to be powered by the Powerstation and still retain the ZMACS switching and option to switch over the to quad cortex from tube amps. Has any one used the Fryette cyclops for this with the ZMACS and Powerstation in the loop?

The question would be, will the Fryette ZMACS cab switching still work using the powerstation in the attenuator loop acting as a power amp for the quad cortex?

Yes, it will. That’s what the Cyclops was designed to do.

The ZMACS selects which amps are routed to any selected cab via the Power Station inserted in the attenuator loop. The Cyclops overrides that selection when enabled and substitutes a preamp, which in your case would be the QC.

Thanks Dave, that is Awesome! I thought that was the case but wanted to be sure before I picked up the cyclops. My PS2a is permanently in the zmacs now so the cyclops is a perfect fit to integrate my Quad Cortex . Love fryette gear!
