Fuse to use in an old VHT Valvulator 1?

I read that many of the older VHT Valvulator 1’s owners, had issues with the 1/4 fuses blowing out.
Both are under the protection of a Monster 250 Power Conditioner’s high powered plug in socket.

Can I switch out the 1/4 fuse for 1/2 fuse ?

And where is th housing of the fuse located at ?

Yes, it is preferable to switch to the 1/2A internal fuse.
